ENvision

ENvision is a cross-cultural missions conference for young adults within the C&MA. The purpose of the event is twofold; to learn about Alliance missiology within a specific C&MA mission context, and to experience God’s heart for Taiwanese young people as it relates to our current mission’s strategy.

Register

  • COST: $475 per person. Registration closes DEC 1.

Ages

This event is for young adults between the ages of 18 - 25.

Lodging

Registration includes 7 nights lodging. All meals beginning Sunday Jan 3 through Friday Jan 8 are included in your Registration price. All ENvision attendees will be housed in the same complex.

Transportation

Each attendee will be responsible for booking his/her own flight into Taipei, Taiwan (TPE). Specific flight details to consider when booking: do not arrive into Taipei any later then 3:00pm on Saturday, Jan 2. Do not depart Taipei any earlier then 5:00am on Saturday, Jan 9. Please note: on your flight from the US to Taipei you will lose a day while traveling. Pay particular attention to your TPE arrival date!

There are NO visa or vaccination requirements for entry into Taipei.

On-site transportation will be provided.

Cancellations/Refunds

A deposit of 25% is required for registration. This deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please call Carrie Reinhard at 719.262.5457 no later than December 1st.

  • Jason Ostrander

    thumbnail portrait of Jason OstranderJason Ostrander is a veteran youth pastor from the Pacific Northwest. He has been married to his wife Calu for ten years and they have two boys Liam and Jams. As an experienced speaker and filmmaker Jason has traveled all around the world, but is most excited about his recent opportunity to serve as the national youth director for Alliance Youth.

  • Dr. Ron Walborn

    thumbnail portrait of Dr. Ron WalbornDr. Ron Walborn is the Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack NY. Ron has been married to Wanda (the Director of Spiritual Formation at Nyack College) since 1984. They have four children: Kelly—20, Brice—18, Karis—17 and Karly—15. Prior to assuming his position at the seminary, Ron was a Full Professor and the Chair of the Pastoral Ministries Department at Nyack College from June 2000 to May 2008. He has also served as the Associate Dean of Bible and Christian Ministry since June of 2005. Ron was elected to the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance in May 2005 and was recently re-elected to another four-year term.

    Ron has been invited to speak at Houghton College, Crown College, Simpson University and Princeton University. He has been the evening speaker and morning Bible Teacher at multiple camps and conferences and has done chapel services for the New York Jets. In spite of ministry to the NY Jets, Ron is intensely loyal to his childhood team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!

  • Dave and Tara Powers

Dave was raised on a farm in northern Colorado, and Tara grew up in several states around the midwest. Their son, Hunter, is three years old. For a decade, Dave has been leading worship at home and abroad and currently volunteers as a pastor at Northern Hills Christian Church in Brighton, Colorado.
