  • Michael Scales

thumbnail portrait of Michael ScalesDr. Michael G. Scales, 12th president of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS), has championed the cause of higher education for more than half of his life as an administrator or a consultant. He founded and was president of an award-winning management and marketing firm for 16 years, advising some 50 college and university presidents across the U.S.

A board member of The Christian & Missionary Alliance Foundation, Inc. (Shell Point Retirement Community), Dr. Scales is the board of trustees secretary for the New York State Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU). Since his 2007 inauguration, Dr. Scales has been surrounded by an extraordinary team of administrators, faculty, and staff.
